ReplyDeleteYou asked on my blog about the planting of the potatoes...nope..no dirt. You lay down newspaper...then the potatoes (halved..with eyes in them)...then cover them with straw! :) On the Homestead Blessings DVD...it's what they do...so we are trying it out!! :o)
