Knowing how painful it is to lose a child I know each day forward that the pain dose not go away. It has been 160 days since my son died and for me I know in my heart it will never end for me until my end. Life has away of forcing you on at a pace you can not accept. Let us all pray and continue to in the days to come. Blessings! Lara

  1. They have names for people who lose a spouse...."widow"/"widower" and those who lose parents are called "orphans" - but, there is no name for a parent who loses a child - because there is no grief as insurmountable as that grief.....Still holding you up in prayer Lara - as well as those tiny angels from Sandy Hook.... 3. Praying for you, Lara:)) We just said tonight that sometimes losing a child feels like a burden that is too heavy to carry, but I am reminded that Jesus said His yoke is light. And He also said that He is coming soon, and {as hard as it is to believe} this day will not even be remembered 8-billion years from now. The glory that is going to be revealed will not even be worth comparing with these trials. Praying, praying, praying.

  5. There are just no words for moments as tragic as these and no amount of time that heals the loss of a child. Still praying for you and certainly for these families.

    Blessings,
