Welcome to the homestead! My friends call me Lara (Layer-a). My family is my life. On your visits to the homestead you will hear about my children & all our creatures that roam about the homestead grounds & gardens. The homestead gazebo is surrounded by the gardens with blooms from spring til fall. The cabin in my header is my dream home. Blessings til next time! Lara
love the log house Lara, I would love to own one like the photo!
ReplyDeleteEvening Lara, sweet picture, so nice to see instead of just snow.....Thanks for the mention of the giveaways, Hugs Francine.
ReplyDeleteHi Lara - I do hope you are doing better this week. I've been thinking about you and continue to pray that you will receive His comfort in your times of need. Hugs
ReplyDeleteIs the photo of your house before you fixed it up? Log houses always draw me, there's something so homey about them. As for the giveaways, I am always amazed at the generosity of the blog community. And the friendships that form here.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're staying warm, Lara--the weather has turned so cold, and now snow. I'm not complaining because I do like winter, but my word, all the cold came at one time it seems like.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
ReplyDeleteSay is that your beautiful home - I would love to have a home like that.
Love, sandie
Dear Lara,
ReplyDeleteI have not been blogging for a good while. But I have been keeping you in my prayers. Hoping as the months go on you are getting some closure with your heartfelt feelings and grief.
No parent should have to go through what you have. Know there are many prayers and thoughts out there for you and your family. God works through ways we do not always understand. Take care and enjoy this day.
hugs Eileen
Stopping by to thank you for the visit to my blog. I've got to check out those giveaways and I see I still have time too :)
ReplyDeleteHi Lara,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comment on my blog. It is a great encouragement and support to me to know that there are others who are going through the same things that I am. God bless you.
Thanks for visiting today and the comment on my bread! Your blog is very nice. Love the cover photo! Is it your house? Enjoy your Sunday!
ReplyDeleteLara, I check in often, hoping you have written. I hope that you find the strength and courage to continue on here. I check in hoping that you can share with us about your Lucas, Laken or Sam. I look for a poem, a word, a lament. I pray that you can move forward a step. a day at a time . . . Courage for the journey, a reader
ReplyDeleteJust checking in, hoping you've posted again. It's been cold and snowy here, so the house is full of pets and cooking, and memories of when my sons were little boys, wearing out the snow with sleds and tromping about.
