    Is the photo of your house before you fixed it up? Log houses always draw me, there's something so homey about them. As for the giveaways, I am always amazed at the generosity of the blog community. And the friendships that form here.

    I hope you're staying warm, Lara--the weather has turned so cold, and now snow. I'm not complaining because I do like winter, but my word, all the cold came at one time it seems like.

    Dear Lara,
    I have not been blogging for a good while. But I have been keeping you in my prayers. Hoping as the months go on you are getting some closure with your heartfelt feelings and grief.
    No parent should have to go through what you have. Know there are many prayers and thoughts out there for you and your family. God works through ways we do not always understand. Take care and enjoy this day.

    Just checking in, hoping you've posted again. It's been cold and snowy here, so the house is full of pets and cooking, and memories of when my sons were little boys, wearing out the snow with sleds and tromping about.
